The Latest Street Style Fashion Moments

Even though Fashion Month is over, I’m still thinking about the fantastic ensembles that street style stars donned in cities like Copenhagen and New York. Although it’s fun to see what everyone is wearing on Instagram, street style is unique. My favourite way to acquire outfit inspiration is to watch editors, buyers, and street fashion insiders show off their best ‘fits of the season. There were a lot of solid motifs that jumped out this month: clashing prints, fitted vests, and bright colours. After a year of working from home and wearing largely loungewear, the anticipation of dressing up again is palpable.

I’ve picked up my top street fashion favourites from the past month below, which are sure to inspire you this spring. But, of course, you’ll want to keep scrolling if you’re going to follow the exact street fashion formulas or take notes on how to style specific trends.

Tie-Dye for Adults

This street fashion season, tie-dye is ubiquitous. However, it’s not all about psychedelia. Instead, designers like Ganni have elevated the print with slinky silk fabrics and mature cuts that won’t make you feel like you’re at Woodstock. To get the appearance, choose work-appropriate pieces such as a sleek dress. Then mix it with contemporary accessories like edgy sunglasses and oversized totes.

Dress in Knit Tie

The inexpensive dress is a more subdued version of the street fashion trend that can be worn anywhere from the office to the beach.

Jewellery with Beads

Designers are evoking summer emotions with precious stones and coral beads, but their designs are less literal. To avoid seeming like you just got off the resort, layer these pieces with pearls and combine them with a white blouse.

Hoop Earrings along Pearls and Stones

These are the types of street fashion earrings everyone wishes we’d come up with first because look at how cool they are.

Zara used sea beads to create simple hoops. Genius.

Scarf for a pony

As people would call it, it’s too springy to wear your hair in anything other than a ponytail. However, a silk scarf may give a classic ensemble a new lease on life. Choose a wide, long-form that can easily drape backwards.

Suits that aren’t too long

Consider putting on a technicolour short suit. It’s different from the suiting set trend of last season, but it’s perfect for summer office wear.

Flip-Flops with Style

Flip flops are back. For a West Coast meets Manhattan look, pair them with a printed skirt.

If Havaianas are too Laguna Beach for you, Tibi has another choice. Because they’re made of leather instead of rubber, they won’t make you feel like a teen crying in the bathroom.

Menswear with a feminine touch

The number one enemy of spring, your office’s air conditioning, is mocked by this outfit. Keep a simple grey blazer at your desk to throw on over any outfit for a quick fix when you want to wear a sleeveless dress to work.

The Extra-Large Blazer

Everlane produces some of the best basics, including this blazer.

It has a slim feminine shoulder and is influenced by classic menswear.

Chic from the provinces

We’ve spoken about how milkmaid costumes are rising, but the latest street fashion style takes the rustic theme further. Gowns come in a variety of street styles and designs inspired by the countryside of french. Wear it with a cardigan and a basket bag of your choice.

Sunglasses with a tint

There, we said it: we’re done with skinny sunglasses.

Swap them out for the newest accessory: huge tinted sunglasses. They’ll instantly level up your basic t-shirt and jeans ensemble.

The eyewear section at Rag & Bone is not to be missed. They have a handpicked selection of fashion-forward designs under $300, including this peach pair.

Animal Prints in New Colors

Leopard print is timeless, but zebra, tiger, and even cow-hide prints have been famous in recent years.

Experiment with these animalistic designs, and don’t be afraid to use colour. Embrace the print by mixing it with bright, vibrant colours.

Tina Tiger-Print Pleated Dress Crepe de Chine Silk Skirt Rixo creates some of the unique prints available. We’re going to pair it with a graphic tee and some on-trend hiking sandals.
